meka

An emission spectrum from hot diffuse gas based on the model calculations of Mewe and Gronenschild (as amended by Kaastra). The model includes line emissions from several elements.

par1 = plasma temperature in keV

par2 = hydrogen density in cmtex2html_wrap_inline12829

par3 = Metal abundances (He fixed at cosmic). The elements included are

C, N, O, Ne, Na, Mg, Al, Si, S, Ar, Ca, Fe, Ni. Abundances are

set by the abund command.

par4 = redshift, z

K = tex2html_wrap_inline12657 , where D is the distance to the

source (cm), tex2html_wrap_inline12825 and tex2html_wrap_inline12661 are the electron and H densities (cm tex2html_wrap_inline12829 )
